Handled is operated by Danielle Henneker, ABN: 77 815 515 083 ("Handled", "we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
PART A — WEBSITE TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Use of the Website
1.1 Permitted Use
You may access and use the Website for lawful purposes only. By using the Website, you agree to:
• Use the Website only for its intended purpose — to learn about Handled, access content, and make enquiries about the service;
• Not use the Website in any manner that is unlawful, harmful, offensive, or that violates the rights of any person;
• Not attempt to interfere with the Website's functionality, security, or integrity;
• Not use any automated tools, bots, or scraping technology to access or extract content from the Website without written permission.
1.2 No Service Relationship
Use of this Website does not create a client relationship between you and Handled. A service relationship is only established once a signed Client Service Agreement and deposit payment are in place.
2. Website Content
2.1 General Information Only
The content published on this Website — including articles, blog posts, guides, and general information about the Handled service — is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute professional advice of any kind (legal, financial, psychological, or otherwise) and should not be relied upon as such.
Handled recommends that you seek appropriate professional advice for your specific circumstances before making any decisions based on content published on this Website.
2.2 Accuracy
Handled takes reasonable care to ensure the accuracy of information published on the Website but makes no warranty, express or implied, that the content is accurate, complete, current, or free of error. Handled reserves the right to update, modify, or remove Website content at any time without notice.
2.3 Testimonials and Results
Any testimonials, case studies, or descriptions of outcomes on the Website reflect individual experiences and are not a guarantee of similar results for any other client. Each engagement is individual, and outcomes will vary based on client participation and circumstances.
3. Intellectual Property
All content on this Website — including text, images, graphics, layouts, brand elements, methodologies described, and the Handled name and logo — is the intellectual property of Handled and is protected under Australian copyright law and applicable intellectual property legislation.
You may not reproduce, distribute, adapt, publish, or use any Website content for commercial purposes without the prior written consent of Handled. You may share links to the Website and reference content for personal, non-commercial purposes with appropriate attribution.
4. Third-Party Links
The Website may contain links to third-party websites for your convenience or reference. Handled does not endorse, control, or take responsibility for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party websites. Accessing third-party websites is at your own risk.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Handled excludes all liability for any loss, damage, cost, or expense (direct, indirect, or consequential) arising from your use of or reliance on the Website or its content.
Nothing in this clause limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) that cannot be excluded by contract.
6. Changes to These Terms
Handled may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page with the revised effective date. Your continued use of the Website after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
7. Content Disclaimer
Handled publishes content about household administration, mental load, life systems, and related topics through this Website, newsletters, social media, and other channels. All such content is provided for general informational and educational purposes only.
This content does not constitute and should not be relied upon as professional advice of any kind, including but not limited to: psychological or mental health advice, financial planning or investment advice, legal advice, medical advice, or professional organising services regulated under any applicable law. If you are experiencing significant personal or family stress, mental health challenges, or financial difficulty, Handled encourages you to seek qualified professional support appropriate to your circumstances.
Handled is not a licensed psychologist, financial adviser, lawyer, or regulated professional. Any frameworks, approaches, or suggestions shared through our content reflect our practical experience and perspective, not professional opinion.
8. User-Generated Content
Where the Website or any Handled platform (including newsletters, social media accounts, or community features) permits users to submit comments, enquiries, or other content (“User Content”), the following applies:
● You are responsible for any User Content you submit. By submitting User Content, you confirm that it is accurate, not misleading, and does not infringe the rights of any third party;
● You must not submit User Content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, offensive, or that promotes harmful behaviour;
● Handled reserves the right to review, moderate, edit, or remove any User Content at any time and without notice, at its sole discretion;
● Handled is not responsible for any User Content submitted by third parties and does not endorse any views expressed in User Content.
9. Third-Party Booking and Scheduling Tools
The Website may include embedded or linked tools for booking Discovery Meetings or other appointments, such as Calendly or a similar scheduling platform (“Booking Tool”). These tools are operated by third parties, not by Handled.
When you submit your name, email address, or other personal details through a Booking Tool, that information is collected and processed by the third-party operator of that tool under its own privacy policy and terms of service. Handled is not responsible for the data handling practices of third-party Booking Tools. We encourage you to review the relevant privacy policy of any Booking Tool before submitting your details.
Handled will receive a copy of the information you submit through a Booking Tool for the purpose of managing your appointment and follow-up communications. This information is handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
PART B — PRIVACY POLICY
Handled is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, hold, disclose, and protect personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
10. What Information We Collect
10.1 Information You Provide
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us. This may include:
• Your name, email address, phone number, and suburb when you submit an enquiry or contact form;
• Information you share in discovery meetings, questionnaires, or client sessions;
• Payment information processed through our payment provider (Handled does not store full payment card details);
• Any other information you choose to share with us in the course of an enquiry or engagement.
10.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use the Website, we may automatically collect certain technical information, including:
• Your IP address and approximate location;
• Browser type and device information;
• Pages visited and time spent on the Website;
• Referral source (how you arrived at the Website).
This information is collected through standard website analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) and cookies. It is used in aggregate to improve the Website and understand our audience. It is not used to identify you personally.
10.3 Sensitive Information
In the course of delivering the Handled service, we may be provided with sensitive household and personal information including health information relating to family members, financial reference information (such as insurance policy details and renewal dates), and school and education information relating to children.
We handle this information with particular care and use it only for the purpose of designing and installing your household system. We do not collect or retain sensitive financial credentials such as banking login details, tax file numbers, or full financial account numbers.
11. How We Use Your Information
Handled uses personal information for the following purposes:
• To respond to your enquiries and communicate with you about the Handled service;
• To deliver the Handled service to you as a client under your Client Service Agreement;
• To send you relevant content, updates, or information about Handled (with your consent — see clause 12);
• To improve the Website and service offering;
• To comply with legal obligations;
• For internal record-keeping and administration.
We will not use your personal information for any purpose that is incompatible with the reason it was collected, without your consent.
12. Use of Artificial Intelligence Tools
Handled may use AI tools — including large language model (LLM) platforms such as Claude (Anthropic) — to assist in researching, structuring, drafting, and delivering components of the service. These tools improve the quality and efficiency of the service we provide.
Where AI tools are used in connection with client work:
• We take reasonable steps to minimise the amount of personally identifiable information submitted to AI platforms;
• We do not submit sensitive financial credentials (passwords, full account numbers, tax file numbers) to any AI platform;
• We use commercially reputable AI tools whose privacy policies govern the handling of inputs submitted to them. We recommend you review the privacy policies of the AI tools we use if this is a concern for you.
By engaging Handled as a client, you consent to the use of AI tools on this basis. If you have specific concerns about particular categories of your information, please raise this before signing a Client Service Agreement.
13. Disclosure of Your Information
13.1 When We Disclose
Handled may disclose personal information to third parties in the following circumstances:
• To AI tools and platforms as described in clause 9, on the basis set out above;
• To payment processing providers to facilitate your payment (these providers have their own privacy policies governing payment data);
• To professional advisers (such as lawyers or accountants) where required for legal or business purposes, bound by confidentiality obligations;
• Where required or permitted by law, including to comply with a valid court order or regulatory requirement;
• With your explicit consent.
13.2 No Sale of Information
Handled does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for commercial or marketing purposes.
13.3 Overseas Disclosure
Some of the third-party tools and platforms used by Handled (including cloud storage services and AI tools) may be hosted overseas or operate servers outside Australia. By using these tools, your information may be processed in jurisdictions outside Australia including the United States. These providers operate under their own privacy and security frameworks. Where practicable, Handled uses tools with reputable data protection practices.
14. Storage and Security
Handled takes reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification, and disclosure. These measures include:
• Use of password management tools for credential security;
• Limiting access to client information to the service operator only;
• Using established cloud platforms with strong security practices;
• Deleting working copies of client documents within 14 days of the conclusion of an engagement.
Despite these measures, no data transmission or storage system is completely secure. Handled cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law.
15. Marketing Communications
Handled may send you emails or messages about the service, resources, and content that may be relevant to you. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by:
• Clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send;
• Contacting us at hello@handled.com.au.
Opting out of marketing communications will not affect transactional communications related to a service engagement you are party to.
16. Cookies
The Handled website uses cookies — small text files stored on your device — to improve your experience and gather analytics. Cookies may be used to:
• Understand how visitors interact with the Website;
• Remember your preferences for return visits;
• Support the functioning of embedded third-party tools (such as booking or form tools).
You can disable or manage cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some Website functionality.
17. Accessing and Correcting Your Information
You have the right to request access to the personal information Handled holds about you, and to request correction of any information that is inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated.
To make an access or correction request, please contact us at hello@handled.com.au. We will respond within 30 days. In some circumstances, we may be unable to provide access (for example, where it would unreasonably impact the privacy of others), and we will explain the reason if this applies.
There is no charge for making an access request.
