We install the structure so nothing lives in your head.
You've probably already tried the apps. Handled isn't another tool to manage. It's the thinking, the design, and the installation, built into the systems you already use and handed back to you running.
THE PROBLEM
You’re not disorganised. You’re overloaded.
Most high-functioning households don't have an organisation problem. They have a systems problem. Everything lives in someone's head, nothing has a clear owner, and the mental weight of remembering it all never turns off.
01
The mental load is structural, not personal.
You're not failing at organisation. You're running a complex household without any of the infrastructure a business of the same complexity would have.
02
Everything lives in one person's head.
Renewals, school admin, appointments, passwords, warranties. All of these are held by whoever cares most, leaving one person to carry the cognitive weight of the household.
03
Nothing has a clear owner or trigger.
Without ownership rules, everything defaults to whoever notices it first. Without trigger systems, renewals expire, appointments get missed, and deadlines creep up without warning.
04
You’ve tried the apps. They didn’t fix it.
Skylight. Notion. Google Calendar. A shared family organiser. The tools aren't the problem, and Handled isn't another one. The problem is there's no ownership design, no trigger logic, no architecture underneath. That's what was always missing.
WHAT WE DO
A complete rebuild of your life’s operating system.
Not task management. Not ongoing assistance. Not another app. A structured, once-off installation of the systems, ownership rules, and architecture that your household should have been running on all along.
Calendar Architecture
A structured shared calendar with category logic, ownership labels, and recurring blocks. This is designed around how your household actually operates, not how a generic template assumes it does.
Digital File Architecture
A logical, consistent folder structure for every document your household generates or holds, including insurance, medical, education, legal, vehicles, warranties. Retrievable in under 60 seconds.
Renewal & Obligation Tracking
Every renewal, subscription, registration, and obligation mapped and surfaced 45 days before it's due. Nothing renews on autopilot without a conscious decision. Nothing expires without warning.
Seasonal & Annual Planning
A full-year view that maps financial pressure points, school transitions, travel windows, and known heavy periods, so nothing collides, and nothing blindsides you.
Ownership & Decision Design
A clear ownership matrix across every household category that details who handles what, what decisions are autonomous, what requires joint input. The invisible negotiation, made explicit.
Partner Alignment Session
A structured session to walk both partners through ownership rules, decision thresholds, and how to maintain the system together. Where the mental load gets redistributed, not just documented.
THE PROCESS
Eight weeks. One permanent reset.
Handled is not an ongoing service. It is a structured, time-limited installation, designed, built, and handed back to you to run independently.
-
A deep diagnostic to surface everything your household is currently carrying including obligations, renewals, seasonal triggers, ownership gaps, and invisible friction points. Most clients are surprised by what they've been holding.
-
Before anything is built, the logic is designed. Ownership rules, decision thresholds, renewal buffers, planning cadence. The structure that will hold everything together is documented in a Household Operating Framework.
-
The architecture is built inside the tools you already use such as Google Calendar and Google Drive. No new apps to learn. No complex software.
-
Both partners walk through the completed system together. Ownership is confirmed, escalation rules are set, and the weekly admin review cadence is established. This is where the mental load gets redistributed, not just recorded.
-
After 30 days of running the system, we check in to refine what's sticking, simplify what isn't, and lock in the final structure.
HOW WE WORK
Structured. Done properly. Discreet.
Handled was built by someone who spent years working in fast-paced corporate environments, and came home each night to a household running on chaos, goodwill, and the memory of whoever noticed things first. Precision, confidentiality, and structure are not incidental to this service. They are the service.
Client Agreement
Every client engagement begins with a signed client agreement. Your documents, logins, and financial information are handled with the same discretion expected in professional services.
Your Data, Protected
Client documents and information are stored securely throughout the engagement and deleted at formal close. Any credentials required are held in an encrypted password manager, accessed only for the purpose of the engagement, and removed in full at handover.
Secure Credential Management
Any credentials required during the process are stored exclusively in an enterprise-grade password manager. Access is limited, audited, and revoked in full at the conclusion of the engagement.
Limited Client Intake
Handled works with a small number of households at any one time. This is not a volume service. The quality of the work depends on the depth of the engagement, and that requires space.
Clear Scope & Process
You will know exactly what is happening, when, and why at every stage. No vague promises of transformation. We provide a documented process, agreed deliverables, and a defined endpoint.
Virtual, Australia Wide
All work is completed virtually. Whether you are in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, or elsewhere, the process works entirely remotely, with no compromise to quality or depth of engagement.
THE INVESTMENT
Transparent pricing. No surprises.
A household operating system reset is a considered investment in the infrastructure your household should already have, and in the hours, clarity, and cognitive space you’ll get back when it's running.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Everything you need to know.
-
A Handled reset is a structured, eight-week engagement where we audit the load your household is currently carrying, design the architecture underneath your system, then hand it back to you running.
It covers 12-month calendar architecture set-up or reset of your existing system, renewal and obligation tracking, ownership design across every household category, digital file structure, and a partner alignment session. At the end of eight weeks you have a complete, functioning household operating system.
-
Because the apps were never the problem. And Handled isn't an app.
Most household systems fail not because the tool was wrong but because nobody designed the logic underneath it — the ownership rules, the trigger systems, the decision thresholds. You were handed an empty container and asked to figure out the rest.
Handled builds the logic first, installs it into your existing tools, and hands it back already running. You're not starting from scratch and hoping it sticks this time. You're receiving a finished system.
-
No. Handled is built inside the tools you already use such as Google Calendar and Google Drive. Nothing new to learn.
-
The engagement is designed to be thorough without being burdensome.
The most time-intensive part is an initial 30 minute intake session, plus the family audit questionnaire that most clients complete in around 60-90 minutes. After that, your involvement is reviewing and confirming decisions.
Finally, an optional partner alignment session in week seven is a 30 minute commitment that we recommend both partners attend to confirm ownership of all household categories.
-
The system is designed specifically for your household, not adapted from a generic template, which is why the audit phase matters so much.
Before anything is built, we understand how your household operates, where the friction is, and what ownership looks like for your specific situation.
A 30-day optimisation check in is included following the end of every engagement to help refine what's working and simplify what isn't.
-
Handled works best for households where the mental load is heavily concentrated with one person, one or both partners work in a high-demand role, and both partners are ready to commit to a structured process.
You don't need to be disorganised. Most Handled clients are highly capable people who are simply running a complex household without the infrastructure to match.
Handled is not the right fit if you're looking for ongoing or in-person task management, virtual assistant support, or a quick fix without investing time in the audit and design process.
-
Handled is designed to run independently without ongoing input from us. At the end of the engagement you have everything you need to maintain the system yourself, including the ownership matrix, the weekly review protocol, the renewal tracker, the calendar architecture. It's yours.
A 30-day optimisation check in is included following the end of every engagement to help refine what's working and simplify what isn't.

Our Story
Handled was born from a Sunday night list that filled three pages.
I'm Danielle, mum of two, working full time, and the person who built the system I desperately needed. After years of carrying the operational weight of a busy household alongside a full-time career, I realised the problem wasn't me. It was the absence of structure.
I built Handled because I needed it. And because I knew I wasn't the only one.
